Lucia Naranjo
My name is Lucia Naranjo and I have been an RN for 32 years. This is my 2nd time as a school nurse. I worked at AHS, Park and Tiger Learning Center in the past. I look forward to helping your child stay healthy and able to be here at school ready to learn. Please feel free to contact the Health Office if your child has health issues that may be contributing to absences, for assistance with management of illness here at school or immunization guidance.
We know this year is so very different than any other. Let’s continue to work together as a community to keep one another safe from COVID19.
We look forward to working with you in whatever capacity is needed to keep your child safe and in school.
Kind Regards,
Lucia E. Naranjo, RN, MSN

This is the form that needs to accompany any OTC (Over The Counter) medication that is brought to school by the parent in a sealed box with the child’s name and birthdate on the package. We may only give 3 days in a row without your child seeing a doctor. Rarely would OTC medication be needed here at school. We encourage student’s to drink some extra water, take a little rest, eat some food. Most of the time this fixes the problem. OTC medication might be needed if a child had dental work done, has sustained an injury, etc. but that would only be for a limited time.
Vision and hearing referrals will be send out over the next few weeks with your children. Please follow up with a provider or contact the health office as needed.
